This License is valid for all Versions of Notesbrowser.

If you don't accept this license, don't install our software. If you have installed it and disagree to this license, delete our software immediately!

2. FREEWARE

Notesbrowser is Freeware. This software is provided free of charge for personal and commercial use. This software is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. The author shall not be held liable for any damages arising from the use of this software. 

Use at your own risk.

3. COPY

You can copy the software Notesbrowser if you include all files and leave them unchanged. 

4. RESTRICTIONS

The Software and all parts thereof are the subject matter of the authors various proprietary rights, including without limitation copyrights, patents and other similar intellectual and industrial property rights. Within any such copy, you must reproduce the copyright notices and any other proprietary legends that were on the original (downloaded) copy of the Software. 

You may not attempt to create or derive any of the source code or other technology or data within the Software by disassembly, reverse engineering or any other method. You may not modify any part of the Software. You may not distribute nor rent, lease or lend the Software without the prior authorization of the author. 5. TERMINATION

This license is effective until terminated. You may terminate this license at any time by deleting/uninstalling the Software.  This license will terminate immediately without notice from the author if you fail to comply with any provision of this license. Upon termination, you must delete the Software and all copies thereof.

6. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTY

Because of the various hardware and software environments into which this program may be put, no warranty of fitness for a particular purpose is offered. 

Good data processing procedure dictates that any program be thoroughly tested with non-critical data before relying on it. Regular backups of user data saved in the software are required!

Notesbrowser is probably not bug free! The software and related documentation are provided "as is," without warranty of any kind, and the author disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including, but not limited to, the implied warranties of design, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement, any warranties arising from a course of dealing, usage, or trade practice, or any warranties of non-infringement of any third party's patent(s), trade secret(s), copyright(s) or other intellectual property rights. The author does not warrant that the functions contained in the software will meet your requirements, or that the operation of the software will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that defects in the software will be corrected.

Under no circumstances, including negligence, shall the authors be liable for any lost revenue or profits or any incidental, indirect, special, or consequential damages that result from the use or inability to use the software or related documentation.

8. SEVERABILITY CLAUSE

If any paragraph of this terms or its application to any person or circumstance is held invalid, the invalidity does not affect other provisions or applications of this terms. Instead of the invalid paragraph the law of the Federal Republic of Germany which fits best becomes valid for the invalid one.
